Too Cool! GoPro Camera Mount for 360 Degree Video

sample image

Back in early March I was officiating at the FIRST Robotics regional competition in New York City when I came across this kid walking around with a tripod with 6 GoPros mounted on it.  He told me it was for creating 360 degree videos. Right there he had my attention.

The camera(s) mount was 3D printed and allowed for a GoPro to be pointed in every direction. All of the cameras were controlled by one remote and the videos were post edited together with software like VideoStitch. One processed the software produces a single 360 degree video from the 6 GoPro files. If you haven't seen this before checkout the video just above.

The note 'A' is 440Hz. For a 12 step chromatic scale the 4th tone 'C' is 523.25Hz.

If we were to use a 16 step scale, what would be the frequency of the 4th tone (keeping 440Hz as the first tone)?

Seriously?!?!

Would you believe the Wall Pack needed is not in this mix. How could this be possible?  How many variations are there anyway?

DC or AC output with output voltages of 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, or 15 volts. I actually found a 13.2VDC output. Why-the-hell would anyone design their circuit to run on a 13.2v Wall Pack? And then we have center conductor positive or negative. A few hundred connector types; Coaxial, Pin, Kycon, Molex, Empower, USB, etc.. And with this there are dozens of sizes for each.

Whatever happened to the concept of Universal Serial Bus. It is no longer Universal with connectors like Type A (original), Type B (square), Mini-A, Mini-B, Micro-A, Micro-B, USB-3, USB-3 Mini and so on.

Let's face it, you'll never have the right one so why even keep them. This is why they make Wire Cutters, Black Tape and the HP6624 Quad Power Supply. However it does seem a little overkill for an Ipod.

The Whip. The loop created when lashing a whip ripples along its length while picking up speed and eventually breaking the sound barrier.
